We're back!!!

We're on the final stretch after a hiatus.  Injuries, rental houses, deck work, church, and estate auction have interruped our progress.  Monday we ordered the rest of the cabinets.  We are on the road to finishing.  We cleaned out the cabinets over the bar and Herbie took the cabinet doors off so we could see thru and get a send of the view our new kitchen would provide.

We also ordered the sinks.

I now have to clean out the cabinets which means I have to find somewhere for everything.  In our original plan, I would have the pantry to put things in at this point.  Somehow that fell thru the cracks. The freezer exhchange occured so now the freezer opens the right way.  Back to working on the pantry.

We have to have a vent fan so the freezer can be in a closed room.  We bought a fan and Herbie is working on installing.  He originally planned to put vent it thru the wall to the garage.  That won't work so now he has to vent it thru the ceiling to the attic.  He also has realized that this involved doing all the electrical work in the pantry so that is the current mission.  Organizing the garage plays into this since that's where the fan will be vented and the closest attic access is in the garage.  Nothing is simple, is it?

So, we're moving forward.
