Isn't destruction fun?

I think Herbie is having a big time.  He got the bookshelves and cabinets in the breakfast room torn out.

Then he decided to tear out the old linoleum floor. Lucky me got to help. He's using a heat gun to melt the glue that was holding the floor down so I get to man the heat gun while he pulls up the floor
I think this is going to take a while.

The dogs don't know what to think.  If Herbie's working and I'm in the office, I get all the dogs with me.  When I'm in there helping, everyone steers clear except Sunny and he is totally clueless.  A blond dog, what can I say.

Then Herbie figures out that we have no insulation behind the wall.  So here we go:
I'm not totally clear on why we had to cut holes in the wall but who am I to question.  We now know that there is no insulation back there so we'll have to add some although with a garage on the other side of the wall, I'm not clear on why.

The journey continues!
